What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), and checks. Payment is due at the time of service for daycare and grooming, or at check-out for boarding stays.

Do daycare packages expire?

5-day and 10-day packages must be used within 30 days of purchase. 20-day packages must be used within 40 days of purchase. This ensures consistent socialization for your dog and helps us manage group sizes effectively.

Question 3

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

For grooming appointments, we require 48 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations may be charged 50% of the grooming cost. For boarding, a no-show will be charged one night's boarding fee per dog. Daycare has no cancellation fee.

Are prices listed before or after tax?

Accepted Answer

All prices listed are before applicable sales tax. Minnesota sales tax will be added at the time of payment. A credit card surcharge also applies to card payments.

Note: Hound Around has temporarily suspended its credit card surcharge on daycare and boarding while our website and point-of-sale is updated. We will notify customers when our new system is up and running before reactivating the surcharge.

How does multi-dog pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Your first dog is charged the standard rate. Each additional dog from the same household receives a discounted rate. This discount applies to both daycare and boarding, including all package levels. No coupon or special request needed, just let us know at check-in.

Is there a charge for the first visit or temperament test?
